Tenco DDM was previously known as Tenco Proto and was founded in 2008 by Tom Castermans. His engineering career in professional motorsports (including F1 and WRC) led him to focus on milling and thermoforming optical plastics.
2013 was a turning point for the company, as it decided to invest in the first AM machine and went for a different approach than the rest of the AM market. The company focused on high accuracy and industrial part finishing.
Since then, the team has been growing: a prototyping company became a (small) batch manufacturer focusing on medical devices, jigs and fixtures. Since 2021, Tenco DDM offers complete product development and manufacturing services.
Mission: Tenco is the Western European market leader in developing and producing technically and cosmetically advanced manufacturing solutions for small batches of products made from plastic or a combination of materials.
We exclusively provide our products to medical device companies, machine builders and their suppliers. In addition, we have built long-term partnerships with various high-tech companies.
Tenco is known for its unique, creative and innovative engineering solutions, from validation up to production.
We support our clients as partners during product development, preparations and the production of small batches. In all these phases, efficiency, performance and re-engineering are key.
Tenco DDM values doing business in a down-to-earth way, based on positive interpersonal relations. We like to creatively think outside the box to answer complex questions.
